BLUE CATALYST FUND

Transforming Coastal Futures: Accelerating High-Quality Blue Carbon Projects

The Blue Catalyst Fund supports the development of high-quality blue carbon projects with technical capacity-building and early-stage equitable finance that allows critical coastal ecosystems and communities to thrive.

The Challenge

Coastal ecosystems are true climate, nature, and people champions, but they are disappearing fast and investment remains low.

Carbon markets offer a major opportunity to fund ecosystem protection at scale, however a lack of early-stage funding and expert technical assistance hinders the development of high-impact blue carbon projects.
